Flexible Architecture

RealOpInsight is designed with distributed monitoring in mind. Hence it's designed to be flexible to make its integration easy in distributed monitoring environments. Its loosely-coupled architecture allows it to handle monitoring views relying on many distributed, homogeneous or heterogeneous monitoring systems simultaneously. In this architecture, all interactions with the underlying monitoring systems are carried out only through RPC APIs. For Zabbix for example, RealOpInsight requires the access to its JSON-RPC APIs, for Zenoss its JSON-API is required, while the integration with Nagios and related systems requires a working Livestatus endpoint.

Cross-platform GUI

Based on C++ and Qt, RealOpInsight Workstation provides powerful cross-platform graphical user interface that work on Windows, GNU/Linux, and on OS X desktop operating systems. RealOpInsight Workstation is available to download as source tarballs and binary packages.

Free, Open Source

RealOpInsight Workstation is released under the terms of GPL v3 License. This means you can copy it, redistribute it, and/or modify it freely under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/>.
